Preparation steps

  • Stir the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and a little warm milk. Leave it to rise
  • Crush the margarine into the flour. Add the yeast, sugar and egg. Knead the dough and divide it into three equal parts.
  • Mix ground walnuts with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Roll out the first crust and transfer to a baking tray. Coat with marmalade and sprinkle with walnuts. Put the second crust over it and repeat the procedure. Finally add the third crust and lightly press the cake.
  • Bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes (until golden brown)
  • Leave to cool, then pour over the glaze.
