Zagreb cream puffs
Rarely does a dessert regularly succeed with everyone, as is the case with cream cheese! Now, whether it will be ordinary, Samobor, from Podlehnik, Zagreb or any other, is not so important.
Preparation steps
- Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out on a floured surface to the size of a baking sheet (20x30 cm).
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 ° C. Leave the baked crust to cool for 20-30 minutes.
- Add the contents of the custard bag to the cold water. Stir gently with an electric mixer and continue mixing for 5 minutes (medium speed).
- Apply the cream immediately on the crust of the puff pastry and level the surface.
- Pour cold whipping cream into a tall bowl and mix with an electric mixer for ½ minutes.
- Add the contents of the whipped cream bags, and continue to mix with an electric mixer (maximum speed) until the mass becomes firm.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cream and level the surface.
- Melt the chocolate in the heated butter, cool a bit and pour the glaze over the cake.
Serving
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, cut into cubes and serve.
Advice
Remove the cake 15 minutes before cutting so that the icing does not crack.
