Walnut kuglof

A fine and soft cake, which is perfect in winter with a cup of hot tea or milk, and in summer with ice cream and fruit.

Preparation steps

  • Beat eggs and sugar with an electric mixer. After we have beaten the eggs and sugar well, we add the oil. Whisk well again and add the milk. When we have whipped it as well, add flour with baking powder.
  • Then, add the walnuts. You can also add raisins instead of walnuts, cocoa or vanilla extract. The best part of this recipe is that you come up with your own additions and add them.
  • Place the mixture in an oiled and floured kuglof mold. Bake in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes at 200 °.

Serving

If you prepare kuglof on colder days, it is best to serve it with a glass of hot tea or milk, and if you prepare it in the summer with ice cream and fruit of your choice.
