Walnut cubes
Walnut cubes with super fine cream. It can also be prepared as a cake :)
Preparation steps
- Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar. Add a pinch of salt, flour, nuts and orange juice, and make together. Finally, add solidly made egg yolk snow to the mixture.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a 25x35cm diameter baking pan on baking paper and bake for about 20 minutes. Allow the finished biscuit to cool.
- CREAM: Put half of the milk to heat together with the sugar, and mix the rest in another bowl with the density. When the milk boils, add the milk and stock mixture and cook all together for a few minutes until thickened. Then remove from the heat, add the walnuts and orange juice, stir and allow to cool. Make the butter frothy with a mixer and add it to the cooled mixture. Unite everything.
- Spread the cream over the cooled biscuit. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Leave the cake in the fridge to cool, and cut as desired :)
- A cake can also be made from these ingredients. The biscuit is baked in a round mold with a diameter of 24 cm. It is cut into 2 parts. The first part is coated with a third of the cream, and the rest of the cream is coated over the whole cake, and sprinkled with chopped walnuts. :)
