Veal strudel in grapefruit sauce
The package rich in carrots, spinach, olives and cooked ham is a combination that, with the addition of an exotic grapefruit flavor, offers a complete surprise to our palate.
Preparation steps
- Beat the veal steaks to be thin and large.
- Add finely chopped carrots to the heated butter, fry briefly and add the chopped spinach leaf and fry briefly and remove from the heat.
- Stir in finely chopped parsley and olives, sliced ham, then stir.
- Put the stuffing on the steaks and fold them, then wrap them with cooking thread.
- Fry the bent steaks in heated oil on both sides.
- Add the finely chopped onion and fry all together.
- Drizzle with water, add passata and natur chili.
- Saute covered over low heat, stirring occasionally, and turning to obtain a sauce, and the meat to soften (30-40 minutes).
- At the end, stir in the juice of freshly squeezed grapefruit.
Serving
Serve the meat with the sauce warm with mashed potatoes and salad.
Advice
Determinetheamount of grapefruit according to your own taste, and towards the end of cooking you can add sliced grapefruit peel, and if necessary, thicken the sauce with corn starch.
