Veal steak in tomato sauce
Tomato, garlic and olive oil are a trio you can’t go wrong with. Enhance the impression of chopped tomatoes with a spoonful of oregano and capers and serve with steaks with rice, gnocchi or pasta.
Preparation steps
- Season the veal steaks with salt, pepper and fry on both sides in olive oil. Finally, cover with wine and let it cook until the wine evaporates.
- Add Vegeta, crushed garlic, capers, oregano and pepper to the chopped tomato and add salt if necessary. Saute over low heat, covered, for about 10 minutes.
- Place the roasted steaks in the prepared hot sauce.
Serving
Serve with cooked pasta or rice.
Advice
Saute the sauce to the desired density, cover with water if necessary and stir.
