Vanilla snails
At the request of all those who do not have the book Homemade cakes ;-)
Preparation steps
- Mix the yeast with a little sugar, flour and lukewarm water, then cover it and put it on warm to rise.
- Crumble margarine into the flour, add sugar, egg, lemon zest and leave the yeast. Knead the dough with lukewarm milk and leave it to rise in a warm place until the volume doubles.
- During this time, cook the pudding according to the instructions on the bag and cool it. Cut the apricot peel into a cross and boil them briefly in boiling water. Drain them, rinse with cold water, peel and cut in half.
- Knead the dough, roll it out to approximately 30 × 45 cm, sprinkle with melted butter, sprinkle with raisins, fold and cut into slices (16 pcs). Arrange on a greased baking sheet. Let stand for about half an hour.
- Press the middle of each snail to get a hollow in which we put the prepared pudding and half of the apricot.
- Bake at 180 for about 25 minutes.
