Vanilla-flavored sutlijas
This is a real Turkish sutlija. Some people make it with a vanilla stick, but the taste is definitely great.
Preparation steps
- Clean the rice and wash it under a stream of cold water. Put water in the pan in which you will cook. Leave the pan on the fire, and when the water starts to boil, add the rice. Cook the rice for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Separate a little from the milk, and put the rest in the rice. Now add sugar to the rice. Stir. Put the pudding in the rest of the milk. Stir so that there are no lumps. Since you added the milk to the rice, cook for exactly another 10 minutes.
- If it is not soft enough, continue cooking for a few more minutes. Then add the milk with the pudding. Stir with light movements, and let one key hit, then remove from the heat.
- Prepare glass jars. Put one teaspoon in a bowl and pour sutlijas with a ladle (this way the bowl of hot sutlijas will not break). Remove the spoon, and put it in another bowl and so on.
- Allow the sutlijas to cool to room temperature. Then mix the chocolate and cinnamon in a bowl, and sprinkle the mixture in the middle of the sutlijas. Now put them in the refrigerator to cool well, then serve cold.
- Pleasant!
