The name of this cake is "Never get sick cake" and according to the creator of the recipe Dr. Fuhrmana boost your immunity with this chocolate cake-like cake. It is not a classic cake, there is no sugar, egg margarine (butter) or sour cream. That is why it is neither sweet nor too high in calories and the taste is of course not like a chocolate cake with a creamy filling of 300 g of margarine and half a kilo of sugar. Dates are the sweetener of this cake.

Preparation steps

  • In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  • In a blender or multipractice, put 3 cups of dates, pineapple, banana and apple puree. Blend well. Add water and continue blending for a few more seconds. Chop the rest of the dates into pieces and set aside.
  • In a deeper bowl, put chopped dates, grated carrots, zucchini, beets, walnuts, cocoa, flour to which we have added pp and baking soda, vanilla and blended mixture, and mix everything well with a spoon.
  • Pour the well-mixed mixture into an oiled and floured cake tin. (24cm) Bake at 180C for 1 hour or check with a toothpick. Allow to cool well before filling.
  • Preparation of the filling
  • Put all the listed ingredients for the filling in a blender or multipractice and blend on high speed until you get a thick cream. If you see that it is not very creamy, continue blending a little longer.
  • Coat the cooled cake with the filling.
  • Enjoy a cup of good coffee. Pleasant !!
