Turosh chusa

This is a traditional Hungarian dish, for which (at least what I saw), pasta is used, which most closely resembles our stains / rags, it is only longer, and the one I used can also be used.

Preparation steps

  • Cut the bacon into cubes, fry in oil until crispy and remove from the pan. Cook the noodles in salted water and strain.
  • In the same pan, fry the cooked pasta (be careful not to burn it), add chopped garlic, 200 ml of sour cream and 150 g of cheese (I used Srem cheese) and stir. Add salt and pepper, then add the rest of the sour cream and cheese, add salt and pepper again and stir.
  • If the cheese and bacon are really salty, you won't even need to salt when you add the cheese and sour cream. Finally add the fried bacon and sprinkle with allspice.
  • You can see the recipe here as well.

Serving
