Turkish meatballs with baked potatoes / Patates Kebabi
I love cuisine from all over the world, I like to eat everything and try everything (I have to emphasize that because it's not always like that) ... I came across this recipe by chance and for the weekend my sister and I decided: we cook it for Sunday lunch / dinner. ..so I would and I can tell you that it's worth a try ... delicious and quick to make ... there's almost nothing left ... no fingers to lick ...
Preparation steps
- Chop the onion and garlic. Put toast or bread in water and squeeze. Mashed meat, onion, garlic, toast or bread and spices mix. Form small meatballs of about 3 cm.
- Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into 4-5 mm thick slices. Mix with oil, ground pepper, salt and pepper.
- Arrange the potatoes and meatballs in the protfan.
- Cut the peppers and place over the stacked potatoes and meatballs.
- In a preheated oven at 200 C for about 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix in the water and tomato concentrate. After baking, pour this sauce over the meatballs and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. And doneoooooo.
Serving
This dish is served with Turkish rice. I will post the recipe the same these days. I found the recipe from German blogger Sally. You can see in my pictures that we took the red pepper, we didn't have the green one. In addition, we ate yogurt, which we made, picked and put parsley.
