Turkey and potato croquettes
Another wonderful croquet recipe, wrapped in a soft potato coat, so tender as they are eaten .... perfectly tender..For my dear friend Nelyc ♥
Preparation steps
- Peel a squash, grate it and cook in salted water. When it is cooked, drain and mash it. Then combine it with one egg yolk, add 4 tablespoons of flour. Mix everything finely. Set aside.
- Turkey white meat or chicken as you like, grind on a machine together with onion. I bought almost mashed meat and grated onion on a grater, add 1 egg, parsley, pretzels and spices. Mix. Make balls, egg size.
- With oiled hands, take a little puree, add a ball, and roll the balls with your hands. Take the puree just enough to wrap the meat finely. The puree will be a little sticky, so you can add a little more flour. The recipe didn't even contain flour, I added it because It was sticky. Roll them in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs and so on. Fry them in oil. The croquettes can be fried in the same way first, so when they cool they put them in puree, this will shorten the frying in oil.
Serving
You can serve croquettes with rice, vegetables or french fries. They are eaten hot.
