Tulumbe
Here is my recipe for parties…
Preparation steps
- First make the sherbet, it is ready when a drop of sherbet stops on the nail and does not spill then add vanilla sugar and lemon cut into pieces. Cool the sherbet.
- Now put water and oil on the stove to boil.
- When it boils, add flour and remove from the heat and mix with a tablespoon. Continue to mix and when it gets a little cold, continue to knead with your hand. When the dough is warm enough for the hand to suffer from fever, then put half a pastry and one egg at a time and knead. Eggs given 6 or 7 depend on size (large -6, small -7). Knead it well so that the dough starts to crack.
- In a deep saucepan (bowl) put about 700 ml of sunflower oil to heat.
- Put the dough in a mold and put the parties in the heated oil. Put no more than 5-6 parties. When they are well mixed, they turn into oil on their own.
- Each fried tulumba is placed in a cold sherbet standing in it for a few minutes, taken out and arranged in a tray.
Serving
From this dose can be made from 30-35 tulumbe.
