Tulumbe
A dessert that is often found in my family.
Preparation steps
- Way of preparation
- Bring the sugar and water to a boil, then allow to cool.
- Add sugar and oil to half a liter of water and when it boils, mix the flour carefully, making sure that no lumps remain.
- Allow to cool. When cool, slowly add the eggs, stirring constantly, until you get a smooth dough.
- From the dough, make tulumbe through a mold or by hand and fry in well-heated oil. Put the fried tulumbe in the prepared syrup and leave them in the syrup until you bake another round of tulumbi.
- Then put them in a separate bowl and pour over the remaining syrup.
