Truffles with chestnut and chocolate

A long time ago I copied this recipe from a newspaper on a piece of paper and yesterday I came across it by chance..jooooj how good this is, if you like chestnuts and chocolate smelling with a little rum, hurry to the kitchen and shake :)))

Preparation steps

  • If you use frozen chestnut puree, melt it first. Mix the chestnut puree well with a mixer, add the sweet cream, outside. sugar, sugar, rum, ... melt the chocolate in a steamer or microwave and add to the mixture.
  • Cover the mixture and leave in the fridge for at least 3 hours, and maybe more (overnight best).
  • Take out the cold mixture with a spoon and shape it into balls with your hands, which you roll in grated dark or white chocolate.
  • Keep the balls in the refrigerator (the longer they are in the refrigerator, the better;))))

Serving

For me, the mixture was a little softer and after many hours in the fridge, but I think it's up to the chocolate, .... the recipe said, chocolate with at least 70% cocoa, and I used milka noisette:) ... and maybe bit and to the chestnut this one I used when it melted was very soft.
