Preparation steps

  • Mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast, break 1 egg in the middle, add warm milk and oil, knead a soft leavened dough with your hands. Leave it covered to rest for half an hour. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 cm, cut rectangles and make a notch in the middle of each with a knife. Heat a deeper amount of oil and fry the buns on both sides until golden brown. Dispose of them on paper towels to soak up excess fat. Sprinkle the stem with sugar (optional). It is eaten lukewarm.
