Toffifee
A friend sent me a recipe for toffifee, because she knows I adore them, but they are very expensive for me, so I can't afford them as often as I would like. Although they have nothing to do with shopping, the taste is very similar.
Preparation steps
- Cover the bottom and sides of a small mold with foil, then grease it with butter.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave or on steam, then spread it on the foil. Put the baking tray in the fridge to make the chocolate firm.
- Meanwhile, melt the sugar, butter and honey over medium heat for a few minutes to melt the sugar completely. If it's done, check by putting a drop or two in cold water, and if a ball is made immediately, it's done. Add the hazelnuts. and mix everything well.
- Pour the mass over the chocolate, then put everything in the fridge to harden.
- Use a hot knife to cut the shapes as desired, although we prefer to break it, so who gets how much.
