TIKVARNIK- pumpkin pie
When I serve this cake, and to the question: What's inside? I answer: pumpkin! Then the guests ask: And where is the pumpkin? and protruding under the plate ha .ha ha
Preparation steps
- Cook the grated pumpkin with sugar, margarine and milk, until nicely cooked, for about 20-30 minutes.
- Beat 5 egg yolks with 5 teaspoons of sugar, add 5 teaspoons of semolina and 5 egg whites, add boiled pumpkin, pastry and cinnamon.
- Bake at 180-200.
Serving
If the cake is not mild enough, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
