Thunder cake
Cake stuffed with fresh pears and punnnooooo walnuts…
Preparation steps
- Cake:
- Whisk the sugar and butter
- Add the egg one by one, stirring nicely after each egg
- Add the vanilla and stir well again
- Mix flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt and add half the flour to the dough
- Add the yogurt to a nice stir
- Add the other half of the flour, then the sour cream and mix everything nicely
- To charge:
- Peel a pear and chop it into medium cubes and sprinkle with lemon juice
- Separately stir in the brown sugar from the chopped walnuts
- For the top of the cake:
- Cut the cold butter into cubes and mix lightly into the flour to make lumps, then add the walnuts and brown sugar and mix lightly (mix briefly with your fingers so that the butter does not melt from the heat of your fingers)
- Cake stacking:
- Pour a little more than half of the cake batter into the cake tin
- Sprinkle with walnut mixture and brown sugar for filling
- Add chopped pears
- Sprinkle the rest of the cake batter
- Sprinkle over the cake mixture (Flour, butter, walnuts and brown sugar)
- Bake at 180 degrees for about an hour or until a toothpick stuck in the middle pops up clean

If you don't have vanilla yogurt it can only be sour cream or vice versa…
