The simplest fuži
Although they are the simplest, it does not mean that they are not good. On the contrary, they are great! The recipe is from an old book of Istrian cuisine.
Preparation steps
- Sift the flour on a board, press the cavity into which the egg, salt and enough water are placed to knead a smooth dough.
- Divide into several parts and continue to knead each piece separately.
- Roll out into as thin a surface as possible, then cut out 4 x 4 cm squares. From these squares of dough, fuži are made by bending two adjacent corners towards the middle and pressing them together.
- Cook the prepared fuži in hot salted water for about 10 minutes.
Serving
Serve warm as a side dish or main course with sauces.
