I love cracklings, for the weekend I decided to make them myself for the first time, I got cracklings and fat :-) I am more than satisfied with the result

The greaves

Preparation steps

  • Cut the white pork bacon into cubes, put it in a pot with a little water (about half a dcl) and cook over high heat.
  • After the bacon releases the fat, reduce the temperature to medium-high, and cook for about an hour and a half, stirring the bacon with a food processor so that it does not stick to the bottom.
  • When the bacon releases all the fat and becomes yellowish, it is necessary to strain the bacon or the resulting greaves. It is best to put the cracklings on baking paper to cool, add a little salt and the fat in a jar. Good apetite!!!!
