The best crempita
Long ago, when I was still a “new bride” my dream was to make a crepe to be the way it was — like in a pastry shop. I tried 5,6,7 recipes, and from my mother-in-law - that must work! ;) And from the neighbor, godmother, mother ... well, none of them were good ... It's always "spilled", too sweet, watery ... Basically, finding the right recipe has become "MISSION OF CREAM". And so, after a while, as it usually happens, when you are not looking for something, it just "pops out" in front of you - in front of me, on one package, the wafer "pops out" a great recipe for crempita, according to which I have been making this most delicious dessert for years. I even know it by heart, so krempita is a very common companion both on holidays and away ... Well, here, enjoy my family's favorite cake!
Preparation steps
- Mix 7 egg yolks with 300 g of sugar, add thickener, flour, pudding and water, then cook in milk.
- Make a solid snow of 7 egg whites and 150 g of sugar, and mix lightly into the hot cream.
- Put one crust for the crempita in the baking pan (large, deep pan), or arrange a petit biscuit on which to pour the still hot cream. If desired, immediately arrange the second sheet cut into squares, or leave without anything. In that case put whipped cream on top.
Serving
Serve chilled, and cut into cubes.
