The Bavarians are unsurpassed, it seems to me, all over the world in the production and consumption of potatoes. A very simple and ordinary dish, which in this country is a cult and synonymous with real classic "men's" cuisine. As a side dish to sausages, hot dogs, roasting meat cheese or whatever it is called. The simplest preparation is if you already have boiled potatoes in their shells. So, is there anything faster, tastier and easier :) If you add two eggs to the baked potatoes, you get the perfect meal.

Preparation steps

  • Pre-cooked and cooled potatoes in their skins, peel and cut into thicker sables.
  • Fry onion, diced and bacon in a stewed or Teflon pan. The most important thing is that your pan or bowl is very large, because otherwise the dish will be stewed and not baked.
  • Add the potatoes to the bacon and fried onions. It is very important that the potatoes are cold, ie previously well chilled. It is important that your temperature is very strong and that the potatoes get a nice color on each side. Season with pepper, salt and cumin.

Serving

This is a very simple recipe, which I wrote solely to tell you to always use the potatoes from the previous day, which have been refrigerated. Freshly cooked potatoes, especially when warm, will not bake nicely, but will crumble and crumble.
