Taralli
Taralli originate from the south of Italy. They are made in the shape of a ring. Each zone has its own recipe. Pepper, hot ground pepper, almond, fennel can be added to taste .....
Preparation steps
- Put the wine on the fire a little until it becomes lukewarm. Add the yeast and mix well. From all the ingredients, knead the dough. The firmness must be as if for bread.
- Put the dough in a pot, cut with a knife, cover and leave to rise for about an hour and a half.
- When the dough has risen, add a teaspoon of hot ground pepper and two more tablespoons of oil and mix everything well.
- Make taralles and let them grow like this for another 20 minutes.
