Preparation steps

  • Wash and clean the chokeberry, add sugar, stir and leave overnight (I used frozen chokeberry)
  • Add water and rum and cook, first at a high temperature until it boils, then reduce the temperature and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes or until the liquid becomes a little syrupy, but not too thick, because it will thicken during cooling. , just before the end add rum-flavored vanilla sugar.
  • While cooking, do not mix with a food processor, just shake the sherpa from left to right. Remove from the heat, cover with a wet kitchen towel and allow to cool slightly. Pour lukewarm into washed and sterilized jars.
  • From this amount I got one jar of 500 ml and one of 300 ml. This sweet doesn’t cook for long, so I wouldn’t recommend keeping it in your fridge for too long, an open jar. Serve in the morning with a glass of water
  • Pleasant !!!!
