Swab with spinach
an old recipe from the east of Slovakia .. sour potatoes with spinach .. in the spring can be put instead of spinach fresh young nettles .. simple and fine dish .. (swab - potatoes on white)
Preparation steps
- in a saucepan heat the oil .. then add the finely chopped onion and garlic .. fry well .. then add a tablespoon of the smooth flour .. fry everything well together
- pour water, add salt, pepper, bay leaf .. cook over low heat
- when the potatoes soften, add spinach (washed, sliced) .. add lemon juice ... cook for 2 minutes * In the original recipe, vinegar is added instead of lemon juice ... only the vinegar is too sour for me
- serve with boiled egg ...
