Suksess Oblate
For my 400th recipe, it was the inspiration for the popular Norwegian Suxestra, which was used to create a new dessert. I got the idea to design these wafers. Try and rate
Preparation steps
- Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees.
- With the gradual addition of sugar, mix the egg whites with an electric mixer into solid snow. Finally, lightly knead the ground almonds with a spatula. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts.
- Spread the mixture on all 3 wafer sheets on the perforated side. Bake each one separately on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake for a few minutes, it should be firm to the touch. It should not blush.
- Baked sheets are wafer cut to get 2 from one sheet. Set aside to cool and in the meantime prepare the yellow cream. The cream is fantastic
- In a suitable bowl, mix together the sweet cream, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar and cook on a low heat until it thickens. Cool the cream and finally mix the roomy butter into the cooled cream. Mix into a smooth cream.
- Divide the cream into 5 parts, then coat the wafers and arrange one on top of the other, pressing, the last one remains empty.
- Press the complex wafers with a heavier object, or a heavy book to level them. Leave in the fridge to combine everything nicely.
- Cut as desired. A lot of wafer is obtained from this amount.
