Styrofoam balls in decoupage (napkin) technique

At the request of my dear cool friends, I am publishing this anti-recipe !!! :-) With a little free time and good will, you can make anything out of it.

Preparation steps

  • LIKE THIS:
  • Spread the napkin and separate the two parts (out of three) as in the picture, so that only the part with the patterns remains. Use scissors to cut out the patterns you want to glue to the ball. Apply a thin layer of glue to the ball, place a napkin sample and coat it. So coat a couple of samples and let them dry so you can continue gluing. I usually glue about 10 balls because it goes much faster. After each round of coating with glue, rinse the brush well because otherwise it will harden and you will find it difficult to continue gluing with it because it will tear the napkin. When you have finished gluing the beads, the coating with gloss varnish follows. First coat one half of the ball and let it dry well, then the other.
  • Here, that's all the wisdom.

Serving

If someone doesn’t want to coat the beads with gloss varnish, they don’t have to. Here's a picture so you can see the difference. In addition, I recommend wide brushes that do not let the hair. :-D In this picture you can see what material is needed to make it. TIP: It is best to choose napkins that have a light (white) backing like this. No transition of one over the other napkin is seen. :-D
