Stuffed white meat rolled with bacon
I found this recipe somewhere, I don't know exactly where, but it's delicious, so it's a fantastic hit for Sunday lunch.
Preparation steps
- Bone the white meat so that we get two halves. Cut the meat across to some 2-3 cm but not to the end. Add salt and pepper and add more spices as desired.
- Cheese, cut the pepper into slightly larger cubes and the sausage into rings. Peel a tomato, cut it in half and cut it into slices.
- Arrange peppers, cheese, tomato sausage in the cut part and fill all the openings.
- Arrange sliced bacon on a shallow plate and place one half of the stuffed white meat on top - Fold the bacon alternately.
- Carefully take the white meat and place it on a greased baking sheet. Add potatoes if desired. Add a little more fat or oil and very little water. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
