Stuffed turkey
This turkey is a great idea for a Christmas roast, but other holidays won’t mind if it’s on their occasional table.
Preparation steps
- Coat the cleaned and washed turkey inside and out with a spoon of Vegeta, and inside with lemon juice.
- Saute chopped onion in 3 tablespoons of oil, add minced meat, chopped liver, washed rice and a tablespoon of Vegeta. Simmer all together for about 15 minutes, then cool.
- Season the chilled braised meat with cinnamon, cloves, pepper, then stir in the chopped chestnuts and figs. Finally add the fried pine nuts, beaten egg and mix everything well. You can add a little more salt to the filling if you wish.
- Fill the turkey with this stuffing (close the openings with toothpicks) and place it in a suitable tin. Heat the remaining oil, pour over the prepared turkey and bake in an oven preheated to 180-200 ° C for about 3-4 hours.
- Leave the roasted turkey to cool a bit (about 10 minutes), then slice it.
Serving
Serve the stuffing as a side dish with meat, and you can also add a salad to the dish.

You can fill turkey breast with this filling and thus prepare the stuffed roll.
