Stuffed panzerotti
Tonight, first a recipe that is not from the new issue of Sale & Pepe, but again from the Italian pages. This is very simple.
Preparation steps
- Pour milk into one bowl, put yeast and a little sugar and let the yeast melt.
- Pour milk with melted yeast, melted butter, flour, salt and the rest of the sugar into the bread machine. Turn on the bread baking program, but stop it after 30 minutes. So it is necessary to knead the dough well. You don't have to wait for the dough to rise.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into slightly larger circles with a mold. For that, it is best to use a lid made of at least a Zepter sherpa.
- Spread each circle with a little ketchup, sprinkle with oregano, put a little cheese and ham in half and fold in half. Press well to stick.
- Arrange the half circles on a baking sheet on which you have placed the baking paper, coat with a fork whipped egg yolk with milk.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
