Stuffed dried figs
I love the interesting, so I found this in the issue of FOOD AND WINE magazine.
Preparation steps
- Bring the water to a boil, remove from the heat and put the dried figs in boiling water to soften them. Leave them like this while you prepare the filling for the filling.
- Steam the egg with the sugar and stir constantly with a mixer for 5-8 minutes. Add the chopped chocolate and continue to stir to melt the chocolate. Remove from the heat, add butter and evenly mix the mixture with a mixer. Leave it to cool, and during that time prepare the almonds.
- Chop the almonds lengthwise, place on Teflon / dry / and bake, stirring for a few minutes until they start to crackle and change color a little. Combine them with the filling filling.
- Now take the figs out of the water, dry them, cut off their "cap" and take out the middle with a small spoon, which you will put into the prepared filling.
- Carefully fill with fig stuffing, so that they get their original shape and put the preserved "caps" on top.
- Arrange well-chilled figs and serve.
Serving
