Stuffed chicken in puff pastry by Jamie Oliver

We got Jamie Oliver's cookbook, so we slowly try the recipes..Tried, great :)

Preparation steps

  • Chop the mushrooms, garlic and parsley and simmer.
  • Cut the chicken fillets in half and cut out a part so that they can be filled with mushroom filling. Wrap the stuffed ones with strips of puff pastry that you have previously rolled out to a thickness of half a cm.
  • Fillets wrapped in puff pastry, coated with beaten egg.
  • For the sauce, you need to boil 200 ml of white wine until the alcohol evaporates, add 100 ml of cream and 2 tablespoons of mustard and bring to the boil. Season to taste. * I personally didn't like this sauce too much and it was quite strong, so you can avoid it if you are not a fan of strange new flavors and aromas *

Serving

It goes well with some cheese sauce, usually cream or cottage cheese .. :)
