Strawberry Elderflower Champagne Spritzers

When you need a nice drink to make a toast, here are some great ideas, it can be alcoholic or it can be without ... I'll come up with both versions and you choose the one you like best.

Preparation steps

  • Make a simple syrup earlier, maybe the day before. Pour sugar and water into the pan and dissolve the sugar with the water at a medium temperature, do not mix, but just turn the pan a little until the sugar dissolves. Leave to cool, if you want a darker color, add strawberries to the hot syrup and if not, then add to the cooled liquid. Clean the strawberries, wash them and cut them into slices. Allow to cool completely and then put in a blender and grind everything together. Strain through a fine sieve, discard or eat the seeds and pulp and leave the liquid.
  • You can use the liquid for soaking biscuits, an addition to lemonade, an addition to various drinks ... we used it today for this fantastic drink.
  • Divide the simple syrup into 4 glasses, add called liqueur or called syrup, pour with champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling wine, garnish with strawberries and serve immediately. Before you use the syrup for drinking, cool it well.
