or estefanija as my grandmother says from my darling :)) her recipe and from my darling favorite combination walnuts chocolate…
Preparation steps
- Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, add the rum and mix the walnut and flour mixture lightly with a food processor and finally mix in the solid egg whites. Shake the mixture into a greased and folded tin (28 cm in diameter).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 190 ° C for 45-50 minutes.
- When you take it out with a knife, go over the edge so that it is not caught somewhere and remove the rim from the mold. When cool, cut into three sheets.
- For the filling: make the egg yolks well with the sugar and add the melted chocolate with 5 dag of margarine and mix on the steam until it starts to thicken, leave it for another 5 minutes and remove from the steam.
- When the cream has cooled well add the remaining margarine and work well with a mixer to get a light cream.
- Divide the cream into two parts and coat the two crusts with a third cover and coat the whole cake with chocolate whipped cream.
- Decorate as desired, otherwise it is decorated with walnut halves and ground walnuts but mine insisted on this picture so I decorated around with nougat cream and ground walnuts.
