Stanglice with walnuts
The recipe is from the last century and the cake has been prepared in my family for a long time. My aunt's sticks are the best though! I will try to tell you her recipe and how to prepare it: D
Preparation steps
- Whisk the smooth mass of walnuts, sugar and egg yolks. Spread it into a rectangle 0.5 cm thick and wide as desired. It is usually about 6 cm.
- Whisk the egg whites and sugar with the addition of lemon juice with a spoon for about 1 hour thick saum / snow /.
- Spread the sauce over the walnuts, flatten nicely with a knife and cut the sticks.
- Arrange on baking paper to cover the baking tray. It is best to use an el. stove.
- Dry the sticks at 180 degrees for about a few minutes, then reduce the temperature to 100 degrees and dry until the sauce hardens. We must not turn yellow and crack!

My aunt mixes the snow with a spoon, and I do it with a fork until my hand hurts. When you put the baking tray in the oven, you have to be there all the time and look occasionally so that it doesn't turn yellow. A little more demanding cake, but the taste is fantastic!
