Squid in tomato sauce
Squid and summer are loved. Fried, breaded and stuffed are already classics on our table, but have you tasted squid in tomato sauce? herbs of the Mediterranean mix give the dish a Mediterranean atmosphere, and a side dish of cooked polenta is in charge of the unexpected turn.
Preparation steps
- Add sugar, crushed garlic and Natur Mediteran to the sliced peeled tomatoes and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. Towards the end, stir in the olives and chopped parsley.
- Fry the cleaned and sliced squid in heated olive oil.
- Add them to the sauce, stir gently and simmer together for 5-10 minutes to soften.
Serving
Serve the dish with cooked polenta.
Advice
You can also prepare squid separately by rolling them in flour and frying them. Then add them to the polenta and pour all together with the tomato sauce.
