According to the recipe of my late mother-in-law ..
Preparation steps
- Dissolve yeast with sugar and salt in warm milk.
- Put baking powder, sugar and salt in the flour. Beat the eggs and add them.
- Assemble everything and add mineral water at the end, stirring slowly.
- Leave the dough on warm to rise for 30 minutes.
- Roll it out on a floured board, cut a slightly larger triangle.
- Cut the dough, cover with a warm kitchen cloth and soak a little more for about 15 minutes.
- Heat the oil and fry each piece, turning on both sides to brown nicely and get a nice color.
- Take them out with a slotted spoon and drain them on a kitchen towel, although it is not necessary because they do not absorb fat, which is very important to emphasize !.
Serving
serve them hot or cold with cream, all kinds of cheeses or with cold yogurt as desired!
