Speed vegan zebra-cake

Another recipe from Daniel;) It is quick and easy to prepare, and it eats even faster: D Thanks to my impatience, I even managed to break it a bit, because I couldn't wait for it to cool down, so the picture is unfortunately not representative. Anyway, the cake is gone, as well as better pictures of it: D

Preparation steps

  • Grease the bread pan well with margarine and sprinkle with flour. For a lighter dough, mix the dry ingredients in one bowl: flour, vanilla sugar, brown sugar and soda. In another bowl, mix soy milk, lemon zest and corn oil. Mix the liquid mass with the dry ingredients. It should not be stirred for too long.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 C. For a darker dough, also mix the dry ingredients separately - flour, vanilla sugar, brown sugar, soda, cocoa powder. In another bowl, mix the liquid ingredients - corn oil and soy milk. Finally mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ones.
  • In the middle of the mold, add first 3 tablespoons of lighter dough, then darker, and so on alternately until you have used up the whole mass. Bake the cake for about 50-60 minutes. To check the baking, prick the cake with a wooden toothpick. If the toothpick is dry, the cake is completely baked. Cool for about 15 minutes, then turn the cake out of the mold.
