Spaghetti with ham and mascarpone cheese
This little dish is ready quickly, in Italy it is an appetizer and in our house with a salad a complete meal. The recipe appeared about twenty years ago in the lid of a macarpone package of an Italian cheese manufacturer, and even today I am not sure which sauce is made faster - whether Alfredo or this one with mascarpone cheese .... a dead race .....
Preparation steps
- Put the butter in a skillet and melt it over a low heat. Add mascarpone cheese and sliced ham on fine strips. Stir well, season with salt and pepper. Finally, pour grated Parmesan cheese, mix. Remove from heat and serve.
- If you want, you can immediately add cooked and drained spaghetti to the sauce, but you don't have to, in which case a special sauce and special spaghetti are served.
- P.S. Today I served the ham separately, because one of the housemates is reluctant to eat it. Nothing was missing from the sauce even without it .....
