South German almond-cherry pie

Preparation steps
- Put flour, powdered sugar, ground almonds, salt, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of cold water and 125g of cold diced butter in a mixing bowl. First knead with your hands, until the butter is combined with the dough, then a little more with a mixer. Roll out the dough on a well floured surface to a size of about 33 cm in diameter. Grease a round mold 26 cm in size and place the dough inside, and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 30 min.
- Wash the cherries, cut them in half, remove the stones and spread them on the dough. Boil 650 ml of milk and 150 g of sugar. Mix the pudding with 100 ml of milk. Remove the boiling milk from the stove, pour in the pudding and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from the stove, stir in 1 egg, and pour over the batter and cherries. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 40-45 min.
- Boil 50 g butter, a tablespoon of sugar, honey and three tablespoons of whipping cream. Stir in the almonds. After 20 minutes of baking, arrange it on the cake, put it in the oven and continue baking. Refrigerate for about 4 hours.
