Somlói galuska / Šomloi dumplings

My version of this fine treat.

Preparation steps

  • Biscuit: Let's make biscuits from vanilla, cocoa and walnuts. Here's how I make a biscuit: I separate the egg whites and the yolks. I add crystal sugar to the egg whites, whisk into a solid foam. I reduce the mixer to the lowest speed and add the egg yolks. I combine it with the egg whites with three or four circular movements of the mixer. line with baking paper, pour the biscuit mixture and flatten. Bake for 15-20 minutes. I make a vanilla and walnut biscuit in the same way.
  • Creams: Make a pudding of vanilla and chocolate. Stir in butter or margarine in both while the cream is still warm. Let it cool a bit. After half an hour, pass a little with a mixer.
  • Syrup: Put water with crystal sugar and cook until the sugar dissolves. When the syrup cools, add rum aroma. Raisins: Pour over hot water and after half an hour drain the water, then mix the grapes with two teaspoons of rum aroma.
  • Chocolate topping: Put water, milk, crystal sugar and chocolate to cook. Cook until the sugar melts. When it cools down a bit, add rum aroma.
  • Stacking the cake: Crush the cocoa biscuit, pour over the syrup, sprinkle with walnuts and raisins and coat with half of the vanilla cream. Then put the crushed walnut biscuit on it, pour over the syrup, sprinkle with walnuts and raisins and coat with chocolate cream. And coat the chocolate cream with 3 dcl of mixed sweet sour cream. Then we put the crushed vanilla biscuit on it, pour the syrup over it, sprinkle with walnuts and raisins and coat with the rest of the vanilla cream. There are many dishes-jokes, especially in sweet cuisine, where ratios are very important. In order not to have to weigh everything, you usually come up with interesting "measures".

Apples with vanilla

The smells from the kitchen are really hard to resist, especially when combined with the delicate and juicy flavors of apple and vanilla pudding. A little champagne gives this cake a dose of French chic! Very good!

Baiser cake with strawberries

Baiser or meringue peels are warm air dried egg whites beaten with sugar. Their taste and whiteness complement each other especially well with sour, red fruits such as strawberries, wild strawberries, currants, cherries, etc., and sweet whipped cream.

Baskets with forest fruits

In the variegation of birthday minions and canapes, fruit baskets are usually the first to disappear from the tray! Crispy fruit cookies cannot go unnoticed even at banquets, because every true gourmet knows how delicious and incomparable they are!

Crostules

Crostules are the pride of Dalmatian cooks, and made according to this recipe, they really deserve it.

Tiramisu plates

You read that right, this is not a slip, but a real tiramisu plate. Unlike the sister tiramisu, the plates of the same name have a real biscuit, soaked in prosecco, and are served with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
