Sogan kebabs
A little Turkish cuisine and a wonderful kebab with onions from the oven, a fine, simple and healthy dish. Sogan kebab is a decoration of every table, wonderful and colorful and the housewives always try to decorate it as much as possible with wonderful vegetables. Enjoy this recipe.
Preparation steps
- Mix all the ingredients for the meat. Mix well, to combine all the ingredients and finely blend. Separate the piece of meat and fry in a dry pan to see the saltiness and spiciness, if you are satisfied, put it in the fridge for half an hour / of simple composition puts all hopes in good foods and a combination of spices. Make meatballs about the size of an apricot, make sure the balls are about the same size.
- Prepare the onion: cut it in half and pull out the halves, connect them around the balls. Put the balls in a ceramic baking dish, they should stand comfortably so that you can still press the tomatoes and peppers.
- Cut the peppers and tomatoes into slices. Press them between the balls to get a nice look. You can put the peppers on the side, in the hoop around the tomatoes and the peppers again in the middle. Pour water over everything, cover everything with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180C / 30 min. Uncover and continue baking for another 30 minutes, if necessary add more water during baking.
- You serve kebab with pida bread with a nice meza salad with yogurt. Let there be some olives and cheese on the table. You can of course serve it with rice or potatoes.
