Slice the marzipan with the pears
pears are the only fruits that I haven't tried this summer - so here they are ... in this beautiful cake with a mixture of poppies and grated marzipan ... an unusual but great combination ...
Preparation steps
- Grate the marzipan and mix it with the margarine. Add 1 egg at a time. Mix thoroughly after each egg. Stir in the sugar.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder. Mix the flour mixture into the egg mixture along with the poppy seeds, rum and milk.
- Line the mold with baking paper and pour in the mixture.
- Peel a pear and cut it into slices, then press them into the mixture, forming thick rows so that the rounded side is facing up.
- Bake at 190-200 degrees for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool. Melt the jam with a little water and brush the cake.
- .Wait for it to dry.Cut into squares.
