Slavonian angry shepherd
Fine powder of bright red color, sweet or spicy taste obtained by drying and grinding peppers is an indispensable spice of Slavonian cuisine. It will also give a taste to the widely known shepherd's pie.
Preparation steps
- Fry the chopped onion briefly in oil, remove the pan from the heat a little, stir in the red pepper powder and immediately pour in 100 ml of warm water.
- Add the diced meat, bay leaf, hot pepper, passata, chopped garlic and Vegeta. Stir gently and simmer, basting with water.
- There must be enough water in the bowl to cover the meat. When the meat is almost tender, add the diced potatoes and cook together for another 15 minutes or so.
- Finally, stirin the wine and the corn starch that you previously stirred with a little water.
