Slani puzici :)
We love homemade pastries, their aroma and softness and that is why I often try new recipes. This is another in a series ..... I can say that the pastry is soft, easy and quick to prepare, and enjoyment is guaranteed :)
Preparation steps
- Put warm water, sugar and crumbled yeast in a kneading bowl. Wait for the yeast to rise and add oil, salt, yoghurt and, with the gradual addition of flour, knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. If your yogurt is thinner, you will need a little more flour, and add it gradually because the dough should not be hard.
- Leave the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes to rise. During that time, chop the crackling ham into small pieces and grate the cheese into large pieces.
- After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 8 noodles, mix each one a little more and leave it to rise for another 15 minutes. On a floured surface, roll out each noodle as thin as possible, apply cheese and ham, wrap in a roll and roll it in a circle. This way you will get 8 snails.
- Press each snail made with a rolling pin lightly and thin it to 1 cm thick. Grease the baking tray with margarine, arrange the snails, coat them with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and put a piece of margarine on each one. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pastry until yellow. It takes 15-20 minutes depending on the strength of the oven.
Serving
The pastry is soft on the second day and can be a snack for your little ones :)
