Sinjski baškotini

Baskotini, which we call Sinj baskotiti, specific in their taste because of Anis (which you have to buy in pharmacies), are very dear to me and I bake them for almost all occasions. The male population loves them very much

Preparation steps

  • Mix the fat with a mixer and add sugar and eggs, then flour and finally almonds and anise
  • Knead softly ..... so soft that it almost spills. Form three loaves and bake on high heat until they turn yellow.
  • Hot cut with a sharp knife into thin strips about half a cm and obliquely. Allow to cool and overnight.
