Simple: Veal with walnut and gorgonzola sauce

Ta-na-na-naaaa! Buy chops, a couple of walnuts, a bit of gorgonzola and cream and take 35 minutes of your time! What will you get? Mmmm a finely prepared veal that will look a lot more complex than it actually is, so feel free to make a pathetic face while listening to the applause at the table! The recipe is for those who don’t really know how to cook or don’t have the time, and so would love to make something fine with a little hassle! Cheers!

Preparation steps

  • heat the oil and butter in a wide and shallow Teflon pan; add veal chops that you have previously marinated a little in spices (or just salt / pepper them, although it is better with spices); bake them first on a high heat for a few minutes, and then for about 20 minutes on a moderate heat;
  • while it’s baking, don’t just stand idle by the stove! for God's sake! take walnuts (and almonds, if you have them) and chop them into cubes (I take a roller and crush them); chop the gorgonzola, too
  • in a bowl, heat the cream, add the walnuts, (almonds) and gorgonzola and stir until you get a sauce
  • when the meat is done, drain it of the oil, take some nice tray, and arrange it; now comes the key! how will you overflow them! don't mess something up now! carefully arrange the sauce over the meat, the satisfaction of your family will depend on it!
  • toss a little parsley over the meat when it’s all over
  • otherwise, as a side dish, regular visitors to my recipe gallery know, potatoes with gorgonzola, a recipe that you can find at this link:
