Ship in bechamel sauce!
I don't know about you, but I adore the ship :)
Preparation steps
- peel the crust and cut into rings 0, 5 cm thick and put to boil in salted water. Do not let it boil, cook for 10 minutes. Strain the cooked crust but save 3 dc of water for the béchamel.
- Bechamel:
- Fry the flour in oil but leave a light powder. Mix the milk and water you saved and pour over the powder, add salt, stir and cook to get a nice sauce.
- Coat the bottom of the refractory bowl with oil and arrange the korab rings, pour over the bechamel sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese, nutmeg and place a cube of butter in the middle.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C until it gets a nice yellow crust. I wish you good luck!
Serving
We love this very much and it is served as a main dish, but it can also be served as a side dish with meat. I prepare cauliflower, broccoli and potatoes in the same way.
