Shaum rolls
I used to make saum rolls with my mom, so I didn't make them for a long time… And now that I have molds, they are regularly in our house again..One of the favorite desserts of all generations :)))
Preparation steps
- Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut strips 2 cm wide and 20 cm long.
- Coat the metal rollers for the saum rolls with oil and roll the dough on them. I never coat these, the dough never sticks and just slips off.
- Arrange the rollers prepared in this way on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees until slightly browned.
- Remove the baked saum rolls from the roller and cool.
- Fillet prepare on steam. Whisk the egg whites with the sugar and cook on steam to get a firm sauce. Finally add vanilla sugar and lemon juice.
- Fill the dough with the cooled filling and sprinkle the powder with sugar.
